Authorised Investigations

The Investigations Unit of the Anti-Corruption Commission comprises of the Unit Manager and Investigating Officers who are experienced and trained in the various aspects of investigations.

All our cases undergo an initial assessment process by the Complaints Unit of the Commission before being handed over to us for investigation.

The Investigations Unit has in place a combination of procedures and processes which are followed in order to allow systematic and well-paced investigations to be carried out. The aim, as with any other Investigations Unit, is to build a strong, detailed and substantial case that will lead to successful prosecution of the offender.

As always, we recognise the importance and necessity of safeguarding the anonymity of our complainants and employ the strictest confidentiality in handing all of our cases.
