PRESS RELEASE 8th September 2020 - ACCS Investigation of Cases and 50M Case

The Anti-Corruption Commission Seychelles (ACCS) confirms that it is continuing with its investigation of the $50M case and all other cases lodged with this institution. We are concerned that there are allegations of unnecessary delays in the investigation of our cases.

The $50M case is a joint operation between ACCS, domestic and international investigators. Furthermore, ACCS has worked closely with the Ministry of Finance and Central Bank of Seychelles who have submitted relevant documents relating to this case.

ACCS can confirm that a key witness who has since passed away came forward to assist us with our enquiries. This is a complex case together with all financial crime cases we are investigating.

The CEO is available for an interview for any further information.

For enquiries for an interview, kindly contact Ms Domingue on 2605979.
